On poptropica in super POWer island how do you beat ratman and dont just say avoid the rats cuz i avoided them and they still kept hitting me?

You go over to the big platform that is on the ground and jump over the rat. When you get to the right side, turn the red wheel but watch out for the flies. After you turn the wheel, poop will come out over Ratmans head out of the sewer.
