On the sims 2 how do you create a pet shop with proper pets?

in order to have a pet store, you should have a 'Doggonit Pet Display' and 'Crazy-Cat Pet Display' for dogs and cats. you can also sell things that involves pets. you should have pets' necessities i.e food, sleeping areas, toys for pets, etc. and dont forget to provide the needs of the sims themselves..

Hi! I have the same question! Ok, so i can put all that stuff out, but how do i SELL it?? Is there like a button that says: Make for sale? or something like that? Also, How do you make people know its a pet shop?? Does the building have the be community? I would appreciate ANY help, Thank you!!!

I have been looking forever how to put the dogs and cats in the display cases. No one had the right answer! What you really have to do is these 6 easy steps:

1. Click on the Business Build Tools and click the money one.
2. Take the money sign (the mouse) and click on the display cases.
3. Then the display cases should have turned a weird, highlighted color.
4. Click on the money sign again in the Business Build Tools to make it go away.
5. Then click on the display case and click RESTOCK.
6. Now you should have the cat or dog in the empty space depending on what case it is. You can also change the price of the animal by clicking on the case again.

I hope that this has answered everyone's Q's!

Well, I don't know how to do it, but there's a cheat that worked for me.

Click shift on the display cage, and then click "spawn pet inside". Then a pet will appear. You then have to go at the top of the business thing at the right hand top of the screen and click on the biggest one. Make the display cabinets a certain price by making it yellow. You can then sell the pets! Hope this helps!

There is a lot of steps! 1. build a building with a roof in a community lot 2. add wallpaper, floor, and rooms (kitchen and bathroom) 3. add at least 1 chair and table 4. put windows if u want 5. u need a kitchen. in the kitchen there has 2 b chef's oven/stove, i think it's in the community section of build mode under appliances 6. make sure u add a podium, which is in the community section in build mode in that three dot thing 7. add some stuff like plants and pictures 2 make it better 8. go 2 the neighborhood (make sure u save), click on a family, make your Sim use the phone 2 call a taxi 2 take u 2 your restaurant 9. let your Sim enjoy the food 9a. make sure u named your restaurant

I've never done it but I can sure answer it.

You will need Open for Buisness along with Pets itself. I think you have your Sim buy a community lot, then when your setting up your shop you put special cases in that contain pets. Each case for each two animal, cat and dog.

Then of course someone could come along and purchase the pet.

Or you can do it the easier way, where your Sim already has a pet in his/her house, and you offer the pet to an NPC or a Sim that you've created but is not in the family. You don't need Open For Buisness for this option.
