On your 1982 corvette crossfire runs fine but idles at a higher rate then usual replaced the computer and the prom but still idled up high?

if 1500 rpm or higher probably IAC valve (idle air control) on 1 of the trottle bodies. easy check by blocking small odd shaped hole on top of throttle body and idle will come way down , should also be able to hear high pitch sound and be able block sound with hand to tell which one. The IAC has wires and threads into front of throttle body , can get at local store , about $30 - $35.
