Pour cold watrer over them, or direct the garden hose at them.
Its better for you to separate the hamsters if they are fighting.
you stop them from fighting then check if any dog is seriously injured.
Not if they have been at it for a while. They need to be kept separate.
If the dogs are outside dogs, there is little to be done other than keep them in separate areas. Their fighting is primarily for dominance and/or territory. If the dogs are members of the family (indoor), it has to be established that the owner is the ALPHA/top dog and makes the rules. When a new dog is introduced into the home, it's normal for dogs to vie for dominance. Usually it only takes a bit of growling or snapping to settle this issue. If/when an actual fight breaks out, the alpha (homeowner) should step in between them at once with a firm thump of the legs into the sides of each dog while reaching for their collars. Hold both dogs at bay for a full minute or two while stating "No" in a firm voice. I don't recommend reaching for the collars first. The thump into their sides distracts them but also certifies that the alpha means business that fighting isn't allowed.
If the two females are currently fighting then I would advise you to separate them.
Try and separate the boys into diffrent cages wile they are sleeping and then you can get the girl.
If the dog has lived with you long enough yes because it will protect you.
The United States was fighting on two sides. On one side they were fighting Germany, and on the other side they were fighting Japan. It technically was the same war but they call it two seperate ones because they happened on opposite sides of the United States.
Dogs take care of their puppies just as any human mother would. They feed their puppies milk, they make sure they don't stray from the litter, they separate two or more puppies when they are fighting and also clean their puppies by licking them. Dogs are also fiercely protective of their young ones and do all they can to ensure their safety, just like our parents do.
Two dominate females may fight to the death of one of the two, depending on the severity/seriousness of their fighting (what are they fighting about). Therefore, I'd recommend separating the 2 into individual cages if the fighting is severe enough. My budgies are fighting then they start helping out each other soon...I don't understand.
They are 'marking' their turf. Males are especially bad for this and it comes from the time when dogs were once wild. You also, as an owner, need to get control of your dogs and start training them. There are lots of training schools for dogs and their owners out there. They should each have their own bedding, their own dishes (including a separate water dish for each of them.)
