If I am correct, Snead State is a community college, so it could not confer a doctor of medicine degree, but you could attend Snead State, graduate with your associate's degree then use those credits at the University of Alabama, graduate with a bachelor's degree from there, and then apply to medical school. University of Alabama also has a medical school in Birmingham, and it is actually quite nice. I was there on a conference once.

A graduate degree is the second level of college degree that you can earn. The first four years of college earn you a bachelor’s degree. If you return to school for another two years or so of specialized training, you can earn a graduate degree. Relatively Small Time Investment Compared to the amount of time that you spend earning your undergraduate, or bachelor’s, degree, the two years you will spend pursuing a graduate, or master’s, degree is very minimal. Most graduate programs are pretty intense, but they go by very quickly. Depending on your major, you will most likely spend a lot of time during your graduate studies working directly with professors to gain a more in depth understanding of what you are studying. The two years will be very busy with school work, but they are incredibly rewarding. Better Qualified for High Level Positions Once you have earned your graduate degree, you will be qualified to work at higher level positions. You can seek work in upper management or administrative roles with companies that are related to your field of study. The extra time you spent learning about your field of interest makes you an expert compared to others who don’t have graduate degrees. Being an expert creates financial incentives that begin as soon as you are hired. Employers will expect you to know what you are doing, but you will be able to live up to their expectations if you paid attention during your graduate studies. More Respected by Employers Even if you choose to go into a different field entirely, you will still command a different level of respect if you have earned a graduate degree. Employers understand that the characteristics required of graduate school students translate very well to the expectations of the job world. Earning a graduate degree proves that you know how to manage your time and resources, and you finish what you started. Employers feel confident hiring someone who has a diploma that proves they have a good work ethic. A graduate degree earns you the opportunity for more interviews for positions that are at a higher pay scale than entry level work.
