Once you have decrypted the DVD, you are going to have to convert the media to a file name extension (format) compatible with Windows Movie Maker:
asf, .avi, .wmv, mpeg1, .mpeg, .mpg, .m1v, .mp2
To see what file name extension the decrypted DVD media currently has, right-click the file and choose Propertiesfrom the drop-down menu. If it is not one of those listed above, then you will need a video converter to convert it to one of them.
Free video converters are available online. Simply Google: free video converters and download one. Once installed, open the converter program, locate and add the decrypted media file to the conversion list. Then make sure to choose your Output Path (saving destination for the converted file) and the 'Output Source' format (one of the file name extensions listed).
If the conversion is successful, you will be able to import/edit the converted media in Windows Movie Maker.
