Once you jailbreak your ipod touch do you lose everything you had on it?

It probably won't, but if you jailbreak your iPod touch and then update the operating system (giving you new features that Apple is offering), your data will be wiped from your iPod and it won't work anymore, which is a major disadvantage because if you want to do new, cool stuff on your iPod, jailbreaking will stop you from getting a lot of it.
That's why I DON'T recommend jailbreaking.

∙ 13y agoYes you do, infact If your jailbreak doesent go good, your iPod will break. I sugjest that you buy another iPod/iPhone and go to the safari and go to jailbreakme.com and jailbreak it.
