Honestly, this event could be a good thing or a bad thing. If your crush had a crush on you, then you may very well have a boyfriend/girlfriend in a few days. If not, then this will just be an unfortunate event that you'll have to put behind you. Your friend probably meant well, and probably heard something about your crush liking you, so he/she blabbed. Don't be too angry with your friend, because he/she probably meant for this to be a good thing. Who knows? Perhaps you'll thank your friend for this one day.

Why don't you just talk to him yourself, instead of getting your friends to talk to him. That is the only way you will ever really know if he likes you or not.

That's the problem with using messengers. On one hand you would think that if he wants to know if you like him, he must like you back. But it might just means that he enjoys being liked and does not like you back. Time you should work up the courage to ask for a one-on-one and ask if he was told that you liked him. That should break the ice. Whatever you do though, don't deny your feelings. If he mocks them, then why would you want him anyway, right?

And right now I have the biggest crush I've ever had..and I never told him I liked him, but my friends did. And he treats me no different..if not we're closer.
