on the cowl of my 1993 DT2 suzuki it states 100 to 1 mix.
99% of the outboard motors need 50:1
50:1 ratio
50:1
2% fullsuntetic oil
Regarding the Suzuki DT 7,5 A Outboard 2 stroke motor 1977-1979; answer ; the amount of oil mix is 2 %,acc to my experience. - Remember to use genuine 2 stroke outboard motor oil with the NMMA (national motor association) TC-W3.
50:1, I usually put 400mL into a 20L jerry can.
My mechanic says 100:1 I have done this for 40l last season without a problem
That depends on its age, most modern motors take fuel and mix oil separately and mix it for you, you only need to fill the mix oil reservoir.
50:1 is what we use in ours same mix in my outboard on the boat http://macswildboarpage.blogspot.com/ 50:1 isn't enough oil for these engines. Outboard motors run cooler since they are water cooled and may tolerate less oil. If you are using a very high line synthetic oil, then 40:1 is best, If you use a traditional 2 stroke oil (like from penzoil or made for a chain saw) use 32:1.
IT IS 50 PARTS gas 1 part oil so 1 pint of oil for 6 gallons of gas
fuel mix for a 1972 ted wiliams 7.5 hp outboard motor
The mix ratio was probably 20-1 for the older motors due to the older technology oils, in any case the mix using the oil available today will be 50:1. works fine on our old 2 horse.
