More than likely the sensor has either been moved or has fallen off. The sensor should be on the driver side front of the radiator, lower left side. More than likely you have had either frontend body work or radiator work done and the shop in hooked it and never bolted it back down There are two power sources for the console - one switched power and one directly to power (non-switched). You have to connect the non-switched power to the unit before you connect the switched power. Once the power is connected in the right sequence, the unit works correctly.
