the GMC canyon doesn't have bank one or 2 it is an inline engine, there are two oxygen sensor however, position one and two, one is the sensor before the catalytic converter usually closer to the head, the second one is after the cat pos 2. if number 2 sets a code it usually means u have a bad cat, people try throwing sensors in but 10/10 doesn't fix it, the sensor monitors the gas coming out of the cat and usually doesn't vary. if position one is bad it will set a code as well, some of these codes set have an updated calibration for the computer that you would have to have programmed at a dealer. pos one is easy to change as you open the hood and on the passenger side of the truck on the exhaust manifold it is right there, very easy.
where is the oxygen sensor location on a 1998 explorer bank 2 sensor
The oxygen sensor location for a Hyundai Santa Fe bank 1 sensor 2 the radiator and A/C line-Ox sensor body. The replacement sensors is available at most auto parts stores.
That would be the sensor after the catalytic converter.
bank 2 is passenger side, sensor 2 is rear sensor (after catalytic converter)
location of the O2 sensor heater on a 1998 GMC 5.7
bank 1 is on the pass side bank is on driver side
Upstream, driver side.
That would be the sensor after the catalytic convertor.
bank 2 sensor 2 is the passenger side, rear sensor, it is located behide the catalytic converter.
Oxygen Sensors are usually in the exaust pipes!
Bank #1 is the passenger side of the engine , and sensor # 2 is in the exhaust after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
