According to AutoZone ODB II readout: Definition Coolant temp is always low. Explanation The powertrain control module verifies that the engine is at a proper operationg temperature. Probable causes 1. Check coolant level 2. Thermostat defective 3. ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor defective. In my case it was low coolant caused by defective radiator cap.
