Oh yes. Braces = expect discomfort, ulcers, sore lips cut in your mouth and on your tongue and getting food stuck in them. Take some mild headache pills for the discomfort and expect after most adjustments. I'm not trying to scare you or be mean its just they way it is. Braces are hard work and after a few months our teeth will look alot straighter. I bet they feel weird don't they. Hope this helps. Sekhmet
Having braces placed on your teeth does not hurt. As they braces are adjusted periodically, your mouth can be uncomfortable, but tolerable.
AnswerIn most cases, there should be no problem in having your wisdom teeth extracted while you are still wearing braces. This is usually done when there is an infection on the wisdom tooth, or when the extraction is indicated to help with the orthodontic treatment.AnswerAfter having had braces, for four years, the orthodontist told me which teeth had to be extracted PRIOR to the braces being put on. The extraction sites had to then heal, before the braces could be applied. Working around braces is so difficult, that normal dental cleanings and flossing can NOT be done.
Yes, that's the ultimate goal for braces and when you get them off
To remove fixed braces they simply use a tool which cracks off the braces from your teeth, this is not harmful or painful for your teeth. Then you will have your teeth cleaned and polished to get rid of any excess glue. Then you will more than likely have some pictures taken and impressions to give a mould of how much your teeth have improved and your fittings for your retainer
Braces on baby teeth can be used to make room for incoming teeth if there isn't enough room naturally. Sometimes a kid will not have certain baby teeth or will lose them earlier than normal and the space will close, and braces or extractions may be necessary to make room for the permanent teeth
cingulums
They will be out by then, there is no point moving no permanent teeth
You could potentially harm your teeth severely if you take your braces off yourself. To take them off, your orthodontist uses a special solvent on the glue that holds your braces on. If you don't have that solvent, taking your braces off can be very painful and damaging.
Yes they will help straighten your teeth without having braces on the bottom. I have had braces before and I didnt have them on my bottom and my teeth straightend out quickly.
No, there is no direct correlation between braces on your teeth and the exterior of your face. However, it is common for them to tear up the walls of your mouth leading to painful sores.
after you get used to your teeth with them tightened that month and you can eat solids again its like their not there. but..... very very painful when you first get the tigtenings, unless your teeth are sticking out of your mouth or something extreme stay far away from braces.
Baking soda will give a bleaching/whitening effect on your teeth. If you whiten your teeth while having braces, then you will not whiten the areas where the brackets are attached to your teeth. When the braces are removed then you will end up with small square patches that are darker than the rest of your teeth.
