The paint code for a 1988 Jeep Wrangler Sahara is PJ5 it is also called yellowish green.
check the piece of cardboard where the spare tire is. it should be on there
Very. There was only 6,849 GTs built in 1988 and the factory or dealer installed t-top was only an option (a rather expensive one) that few were equipped with. As long as it has the CJB build code, you can be fairly sure it's genuine; but remember, t-top kits are available and still floating around. It may not be stock and as such, may be done improperly or cheaply.
the paint code should be on the inside of the drivers door on a little white sticker. if not there try on the passenger door. the paint code on mine is inside the center console on a white sticker If the paint code isn't on either door or in the console; try looking inside the trunk compartment, it should be a white sticker on the inside of the panel
If you mean the plant code it is 11th number in the VIN If you mean the sticker with the options, it usually under the front hood stuck to the inside of the hood, BUT I have seen a few on the underside of the rear hood.
It is on the accessory sticker. Call your delaer parts store. They can also get it by your VIN ## (have it ready).
