American Airlines seeing that they don't need competition, flew the Chicago-New Delhi route instead, but then Air India (a very poor airline according to many people) flew the Chicago-New Delhi and Chicago-Hyderabad India routes from 2010 and still do today. So that is the long story of why American Airlines flew to India and not Pakistan.

Formerly, you could also fly to Vancouver via Bangkok, Toronto, Montreal via London Heathrow, Washington DC Dulles via New York JFK, and LAX (Los Angeles) via Frankfurt. While you can fly nonstop from America to India, you cannot fly nonstop USA to Pakistan, forcing having to make a connection in either Toronto, Europe, the Middle East, or India (New Delhi and/or Mumbai, depending if you're flying from Chicago O'Hare and New York JFK or through Newark Liberty). So that's that. But seriously, Pakistan and India are supposed to be brothers and should not fight. I mean they are neighbors, so they should be brothers too. They should always care about each other, and help each other out, just like America with Canada and Mexico.
