There is no law stating that suicide is illegal. Aiding suicide is illegal.
If someone attempts suicide a judge can deem someone "crazy", and force them in to a psych ward. This is because it is reasonable to assume that someone that attempts suicide is not mentally stable. But there will be no criminal charge (unless a crime was broken during the suicide, like possession of a controlled substance when someone tries to OD).
