Thirteen presidents were born in the 18th century. The first 12 and the 14th were born between 1732 and 1974. That is 29.5 percent.
As of June 2016, the only US president to be born in Kentucky was Abraham Lincoln. As the only one out of the 44, the percentage of US presidents born in Kentucky is currently at 2.27%.
2000 for sure. 1888 and a few others in the late 1800s.
No presidents were born in Maine. VP Hannibal Hamlin was from Maine.
About 69% 29/42 = 0.69047
2 presidents
No, no presidents have been born in Rhode Island
No U. S. Vice Presidents were born in Michigan.
About 25% throughtout the 20th century.
I get 6/43 = 13.95 % of US presidents from Ohio, Although Obama is often called the 44th president, there have only been 43 different presidents. I did not count Grant and B, Harrison as being from Ohio since they were not from Ohio when they were elected even though they were born there. I did count W.H. Harrison who was born in Virginia but was living in Ohio when he was elected. So,the six presidents "from" Ohio were W.H.Harrison, Hayes, Garfield, McKinley, Taft and Harding.
They were all born in the United States, though when the first few presidents were born, the US was still a British colony.
No President was born in 1776. Two Presidents were born in 1767. Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams.
