at the rate we are going...about 50 years
Petroleum is a fossil fuel, it has no future only a geological past, once is is used it is gone.
petroleum is like time ......once gone will never come back
Petroleum is considered an non renewable energy source because it is made of billions and billions of tiny dead organisms packed together and squished to form it. The squishing of the organisms is a process that takes millions of years, and so when we use it up, it will be gone for several million years.
Limited resource such as petroleum and coal, once used then it is gone.
No. Coal, petroleum, and natural gas are all non-renewable resources that are taken from the earth. Once they are gone, they are gone for good and will not eaily or quickly be replenished. Their fumes or exhaust can harm the envirnoment and cause pollution.
there are none. it will be all gone soon enough, so why would they make more uses for it.
credit crunch and it relys on a price of barrell crude oil which we all know is really expensive and therefore it has a negative affect on it.
Yes, crude oil is generally more dangerous than refined oil because it is more flammable and can release toxic fumes when spilled. Refined oil has gone through a process that removes impurities and reduces its volatility, making it safer for transportation and handling.
It is mostly petroleum, so you need a strong degreaser. I have had good luck with Murphy's oil soap, goo gone and such. You definitely want to avoid scrubbing it with an abrasive sponge.
I use a product called "Goo-Gone". It's an oily orange substance that smells of petroleum. (I'm in the United States.) I've found that very non-polar solvents like oils (Goo-Gone, gasoline, mineral or vegetable oil) dissolve most adhesives, but there's always stuff like superglue that dissolves in acetone... Orange oil, Goo-gone, or turpentine, those are my recommendations :-)
You'll need a petroleum based product like WD40 or Goo Gone plus elbow grease to remove the sap. Avoid using WD40 on car paint, though.
Crude oil is the naturally occurring flammable liquid found deep down beneath the earth surface especially in rock deposits. It contains a mixture of hydrocarbons each with different boiling points.Refined oil is what is obtained after crude oil has gone through a process of 'fractional distillation' or other similar procedures which reduces the original crude form to simpler hydrocarbons which can be obtained in a fractional distillation column at different stages depending on the temperature of each constituent hydrocarbon.
