Effects of morphine pills
There are many effects of morphine pills.
Morphine is part of the narcotic painkillers category. They are widely abused. They are very effective in treating moderate to severe pain and are generally prescribed to patients who some of the "lower dose" narcotic painkillers have no effect. You generally will get doses of morphine IV post-surgery also.
Having said that, the reason morphine pills are abused is because of the feeling of euphoria. This feeling is a very "good" feeling for the abuser because it makes them feel as though they are on Cloud 9. Even if you don't abuse prescription pain medication, upon taking this medication you will get this feeling of euphoria.
Some people will experience various side effects, whether abused or taken legitimately. These effects include, but are not limited to: nausea, lightheadedness, pain relief, relief from withdrawal symptoms, mild vomiting, dizziness, headaches, sleepiness, drowsiness, and kind of a "loopy" feeling, and inability to fully concentrate.
The most common side effects of morphine sulfateinclude:
Constipation
Nausea/Vomiting
Dizziness
Histamine release
Pruritus (itching)
