Use a 5 gallon bucket and determine the amount of time it takes to fill it. For Example, if it takes 5 minutes to fill up the bucket it is flowing at one gpm. Just take the time it takes to fill the bucket and divide by 5!

How to use a tire pressure gage?

Tire pressure gauges are simple to use. Just take the valve stem off the tire and insert the gauge end into the stem fully. You will then get your accurate tire pressure reading. Just replace the valve stem and you're done.

What is a pbc valve?

Did you mean PCV [positive crankcase ventilation]....that valve helps keep engine gasses from going to the atmosphere but wont allow intake pressure back to the crankcase.

What is difference between pressure reducing valve and pressure relief valve?

pressure relief valve relief the excess pressure which is developed in the syatem, while pressure reducing valve reduces the pressure and supply it to the system.

How can a ball valve cause low water pressure?

The ball valve may not be opening all the way restricting the flow.ANS 2- A ball valve, if fully open and functional, cannot cause low pressure. -Look for other possible causes. -And please be more specific about the EXACT problem next time.

Does the heater core have a pressure release valve?

no pressure release valve

What is high pressure valve?

A pressure valve is usually installed on water systems to prevent excess water pressure from destroying fixtures or other plumbing components. When the pressure exceeds the valve ratings the valve opens and releases water/pressure from the line.

Why does the pressure valve keep opening?

Too much pressure or defective valve.

What is the small valve in the center of the radiator pressure cap?

pressure-relief valve

Why use anti vacuum valve in hot water system?

The heated water pumped through the pipes gets cooled once the exit valve /mixer valve is opened. This results in reduced pressure in the system. So there is chance that air gets sucked into the tubes from atmosphere that causes fluctuating water shower ; or the tubes and reservoir can collapse under suction pressure. To avoid this a by pass connection for water is given through a vacuum valve. This valve is set for a calculated pressure in the system. Whenever pressure falls below this value it opens and allows extra water to enter into the system and thus maintaining the pressure in the system.

Difference between set pressure and blow-off pressure?

The set pressure is the pressure at which a relief valve starts to open. When the valve is open and relieving, the pressure will be higher or lower than the set pressure, depending on the system and the valve design. That is the blow-off pressure.

What a pressure regulator valve?

A pressure regulator is a control valve that reduces the input pressure of a fluid to a desired value at its output.
