Pollution and the shape of lakes.
The carbon dioxide in the car creates pollution and it will brake free from the car and into the air. when it rains, the pollution will mix with the rain. Then, when the rain falls, it falls into the lakes, oceans and rivers. There for it's polluting the water.
How we save our earth from pollution
Factors that affect Acid Rain depend on: *where you live (Moutain, flat lands...) *if you are near buildings such as factories.. *natural lakes, and land masses
Liquid substances can be poured into lakes and river which the horses may drink and rubbish, well, they can get stuck or caught in it, or, they can eat it!

pollution
Air pollution can have significant effects on water. The nature of the pollution is that it takes place across vast areas and it difficult or impossible to protect water from pollution that is airborne. One of the best known causes of water pollution is that of acid rain, resulting from various oxides from burning fossil fuels dissolving into water to form acids. The simple and effective prevention is to avoid the air pollution. To a lesser extent, air can affect bodies of water such as lakes and oceans. In both cases, we do not have the resources to prevent contact between air and water so the only reasonable and viable action is to prevent air pollution.
