I actually called into camp Chevy yesterday with the same problem because i just bought my car and it wasn't working like that, they told me that i had to go in and they have to manually reset the code
I got my unlockcode through DelcoLockCodes.com... $4.99 and you receive the code in an hour or so. Hope this helps!
1996 pontiac sunfire 2.2 crank was moved but cam was not could the timing get out 180 degrees before i put it back together
In a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, there are two oxygen sensors. One would be located in the exhaust before the catalytic converter. The other is located in the exhaust after the catalytic converter.
for one you need to loosen your lug nuts before you jack up the car,
no, instructions tell you to leave them on and they will break off during the bleeding process.
Near the rear of the vehicle up near the gas tank; RELIEVE FUEL PRESSURE FIRST BEFORE REMOVING THE FILTER!!!
I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire, and at the time I could not find the transmission. The manual said to add four quarts, and I did.How will I know if the transmission is circulating.
If your car won't shift into reverse, try changing the transmission fluid and filter. Sometimes that will solve the problem. If that doesn't help, there could be a problem with the linkage or the shifter cable. Or, if the car is an automatic, make sure you're stepping on the brake pedal before you try to shift out of park. You may need to have a mechanic inspect the transmission.
Well it could be that your timing might be off if it didnt backfire before,i would get the timing checked or go back to where you got it done.
A faulty ignition switch can certainly prevent an engine from starting. Before wasting any more money, take the vehicle to the dealer and see what they'll do about the switch.
My '96, with over 200,000 miles on the odometer, is getting between 29 and 31 MPG. From what I can tell, the car was well maintained before I bought it. Your mileage may vary ;) FriPilot
I'd suggest picking up a Haynes or Chilton manual for your car. It will take you through the procedures and will let you know what you need, if you read the procedure before you begin the job.
The fuel pump is located INSIDE the fuel tank. Replacing it requires removing the entire fuel tank. I suggest that you pick up a Haynes or Chilton manual before undertaking this job.
