Ouch - tough situation. It totally depends on YOU.
If you're a good friend to this person, you will sit her down and tell her what kind of conniving jackass he is before she gets hurt. She might initially think you're trying to get at him by making her unhappy - that's a risk a true friend always takes. However, if he's the kind of jerk you say he is, she deserves to know whether she chooses to believe or not. In the end, if she chooses not to believe you, you will at least have a clear conscience. If he winds up treating her like he did you, she'll understand what you tried to do for her.
I guarantee you won't have a clear conscience if you don't say anything to her and she gets hurt by him the way you did and you could have possibly prevented it. Real friends don't let that happen.
