When the power seats in a 1985 Ford Thunderbird quit working and the owner has changed the circuit for it and checked the ground, the cause may be the motor. The motor in the seat can be replaced by taking it to a mechanic who specializes in Ford vehicles.
If the brake lights & horn are on the same fused circuit the most likely cause of the problem is an open circuit before the fuse.
is the other headlamp working? if yes check for dirty contacts and damaged wires have you put the head lamp bulb in correctly have you checked the "faulty" to make sure that it is truly blown?
No
Something in the speedo circuit has possibly failed and the computer set a code for it.. Have it checked for codes.

possible turn signal switch failure common on gm cars
Nope... if the circuit has a gap in it - the path of electrons is interrupted, and that would stop the circuit from working.
