Generally, I would say no. The reason being is when they look up your employee file, it will say you were fired for whatever reason. And if you say you were ever fired from a job on any application, most companies won't hire you. Best bet would be to wait until everyone in your local hr retired or whatever. Because then they would only have to go on what your file says. Maybe if you knew someone in a high position, you could get rehired or if you were fired because of a layoff or something that wasn't your fault.
