easy way to test it by bridging the fan switch with a piece of wire and if the fan comes on then the fan switch is broke if not check the fan fuse in the fusebox and if that's ok then the fan has gone.
Either the switch that tells it when to turn on is bad or the fan itself is bad.
Lack of coolant in the radiator. Fan not working. Not enough oil.
No.
Turn the AC on and the electric fan on the radiator should run.
Have you replaced the thermostat? The water in radiator should not be boiling! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Is your cooling fan/viscous clutch working ? (Helpfull)
Yes, if the radiator fan is not working, it can cause overheating of the engine. The radiator fan helps to cool down the engine by pulling air through the radiator to remove heat. Without the fan, the engine may not receive adequate cooling, leading to overheating.
For the radiator electric fan... Depends which fan you're talking about ? The heater fan or the radiator fan ?
in the pipes going to the radiator or you need a new radiator
fuse
probably the fan relay
It could be the cooling fan swith, the water temperature sensor, or the cooling, (radiater), fan motor. It can allso be a loose electrical connection or a blown fuse.
Your Lumina 2001 engine light might come on while the radiator fan is working because the fan is turning too slowly, is damaged, or is not cooling the engine correctly.
