Radio problem with 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo numbers and info comes up on radio display but no sound comes out from the speakers. checked fuse and its fine. help?

Chances are that your stock amplifier is blown. Your amp is located in the trunk under the rear deck. Price new from dealer is $415.00. Nice huh. Nice job Chevy. Get a used amp from the junk yard. The year 2000 and 20001 are identical. Just unplug the old one and replace plugs into used one.
