By Maytag then WhirlpoolAs I understand, Caloric is owned by Maytag, who is owned by Whirlpool. In mid 60's the family owned Caloric Corp., Topton, PA sold to Raytheon Corp. Raytheon had diversified into home appliances through their acquisition of Amana. They felt they had major quality applicance manf. with both gas stoves and electric. About 20 years later the Caloric brand was eliminated and eventually the assets converted or liquidated. You can still find older products and many unused parts on many web sites. Older Caloric stoves are now considered vintage and many are restored, but most just continure to give reliable daily service to millions of people around the world. The company line for a good decision or a new idea was, "Now you're cooking with gas."

im looking for information on a Diana 880 model cast iron stove.
There is a link below to an article in Wikipedia. I think the article could use some improvement, but there it is. There are a bunch of sites on the internet that are devoted to wood stoves. Really, to choose one, more information is needed on the type of stove. The original Franklin stove is very different from a masonry stove, and both are very different from a wood cook stove.
More information is needed to answer this question. Here are three ways a stove can be measured: 1. By weight. 2. By BTU. 3. By dimension.
There is insufficient information. If this is question about a dryer or stove, please specify.
Get the make and model of your stove, a metal tag somewhere on the stove provides this information (frequently on the inside of the door or on the back). Locate an applicance parts store in your area and call or visit with the information in-hand. You can also try "Sears.com" who offers parts for all makes. Expect a price in $50.00 range. Install can be a little tricky so pay attention to what you're doing - no distractions.

Unfortunately, there is no widely available bibliography specifically dedicated to T.A. Carrington, the inventor of the stove. However, you can find information about Carrington's stove invention in historical archives, patent records, and books on the history of cooking appliances. Conducting research in these areas would provide insights into Carrington's work and its impact on stove technology.
A stove. Hopefully, a gimballed stove!
