Recharged system to 45psi with an over the counter freon but 2003 ford expedition only blows vent air not cold at all Any suggestions?

It can be one of many things but what does the high side read ??? but if its between 200 to 250psi then I would start out by checking the inside controls for correct operation as well as the a/c and heater door...................

Suspect an overcharged system. This can be quite dangerous. For a system to be properly recharged, it should first have the dessicant changed in the dryer, and then be evacuated; both pretty easy, talk to your parts counter guy for help.
