1 (6-ounce) cube or cake of compressed yeast (also know as fresh yeast) = 1 package of active dry yeast
1 package active dry yeast = about 2 1/4 teaspoons = 1/4 ounce
Therefore, 1.5 ounces of compressed yeast = 1/16 of an ounce of active dry yeast or 1/4 of the package of active dry yeast.
It is 8.8 ounces. A strange recipe bool to be giving servings to 1 decimal place!
I think it like asking how many pints in a mile. The suffix fl denotes fluid ounces, so if the recipe asks for 24 fl or flour!!!! then fill the measuring jug to that mark.
See the link.
Equivalent problem ? -what does that mean. If you want to know what 92.5 pounds is in ounces, it is 1,480 ounces.
About 58 ounces
That is 9.877 ounces
That is 21.164 ounces.
You can measure any small recipe amounts in ounces
1.36 fluid ounces is equivalent to about 8.2 teaspoons.
recipe asks for 250 g of cream cheese. How many cups is this?
The full box is 11.3 oz. There are 3 sleeves. This would equate to approximately 3.8 ounces per sleeve. For recipe that called for 6 ounces, I used 2 sleeves, as that is how I previously made the recipe. It turned out great!
256 ounces
