Reebok 5500c treadmill and the problem i am having is that the left side of the console touchpad works and the right side doesn't do i need to replace the console or is it something else?

I just bought a Reebok S 9.80 have the same problem. I contacted the Icon tech and he said the console is bad and they will send a replacement.

I would think that it would be about the same effort wise, but running on a treadmill would put more stress on your legs from the constant impact, if you have a foot problem or something. A stationary bike has a more circular flowing motion, but exercise on it focuses a lot more on the thighs than your entire leg.

It doesn't matter anymore I figured it out. There is 2 buttons by the on/off button, well my sister pressed one of them so the touchpad didn't' work, all i had to do is press it again, problem solved. Although I did try Fn + F7 and it didn't work. Thanks hope this helps :)

Well, one minor problem could be that you might have something jammed were the shifter is like a penny or something that fell out (that's if you have a shifter on the floor or console, not out of the steering wheel) Just take the loose change that's stuck in there out.
