Well, atheists don't have a book telling them what to do at those times, and don't all do the same thing, I can only tell you they don't beg and whine at a percieved holy creator.
Because so called christians always judge us. i am not an atheist, neither am i religious. by the way if you are a christian and your reading this, do not judge others, don not force your religion on others you are to love and encourage people, be an example of christ. whether atheist or not, all are in the image of God, what if christ didnt believe in himself would you judge him
Only a religious extremist would believe that. America is founded on the principle of religious freedom and that freedom includes atheism.
I imagine many religious people would. They would probably say that only god can create new life or something like that. I, myself, am atheist and many people I know, religious and atheist alike, are apposed to it. Tampering with the DNA sequence like that poses too many risks for it to end well.
Theist is the word you would use, as opposed to atheist. Religious people can be theists as well, but theist is as general as you can get.
Yes, there are no legal religious requirements for United States presidency. It boils down to the religious wants of the voters. If there were enough voters okay with the candidate being atheist, he/she could be voted in.
Remsberg (or Remsburg) was a religious skeptic who lived in the second half of the 19th Century. Almost certainly, he would have described himself as an atheist.
The devil is a religious construction originally imagined by the early Christians. Atheist are not concerned with the Devil since they are not concerned with religious matters and believing in supernatural figures.
This isn't a very necessary question... anyone can scream at their moment of death.
Yes, the majority of Jewish parents wouldn't have an issue with their children dating an atheist. More religious parents would want their children to date an atheist Jew as opposed to someone non-Jewish.
Satanism and atheism are two completely different things. I would say they are a normal band, since they aren't religious/anti-religious music.
Lance Armstong is a well known atheist. He has been qouted saying "if there was a God, I would still have two nuts".
Not all that many; although being an atheist used to be a capital offence in England, not that many people were actually hung - largely because, obviously, people wouldn't say they were atheists. In general, atheists don't kill people because of their beliefs - it's hard to think of atheists flying airliners into buildings or starting a war because of beliefs; why would they?Answer:It depends on your definition of a "cause". No one has ever run around (to my knowledge) in an Atheistic Crusades saying "Be an atheist or die". However societies with Marxist (which is atheist in practice) or general atheistic philosophies have killed millions. Stalin's USSR, Mao Zedong of China, and Pol Pot in Cambodia are three examples.
