First thng is to disconnect the battery. Get an empty (gallon) milk jug. Unhook the rubber washer-fluid hose from the bottom of the washer tank and drain the wishy-washer fluid. Although not 100% necessary, its easy to do and will save you a little aggrevation, so unplug the (driver's-side) headlight and remove. Remove the battery. Remove the plate that the battery sits on - the wishy-washer tank is under the battery platform. There are three (maybe four) screws that secure the tank to the truck body. Loosen them, but do NOT try to remove the tank yet!!! Ya gotta go back under the truck and turn the wishy-washer pump 1/4 turn and lift it out of the bottom of the washer tank. Just let it hang loose. The tank should now be free to remove through the vacated battery compartment.
