fan clutch is built into water pump,u have to get new water pump.

their are 4 bolts holding it on .u need a12 mm socket with ashort adapter and a pair of plyiers,its a tight fit.
Remove the fan itself then remove the clutch from the fan

you have to remove the cooling fan to change the fan clutch. you need to loosen the fan shroud, be careful to remember the serpenting belp routing, maybe draw a diagram to remind you. 4 bolts holding the fan to the water pump, 4 bolts holding the clutch to the fan. this is how i did mine on a 5.0l Chevy truck
It took me about 1.5 hours to do. I have a 92 pathfinder 4 x 4. I first took a little coolant out of the radiator so I could remove the upper radiator hose. With the hose removed I took out the fan shroud. After that you will remove four bolts that hold the fan clutch to the water pump. Remove the fan off of the fan clutch and put on the new fan clutch. Put everything back together in reverse order.
Just remove the 4 bolts that attach it to the water pump. Remove from fan, place new one on fan (4 more bolts)
In some Nissan Pickups of that year, the fan clutch is actually integrated with the water pump as an assembly. Therefore, the fan clutch cannot be separated from the water pump. There are six bolts holding the water pump to the engine block; remove those bolts and the water pump/fan clutch assembly should come out as a unit.

Remove the fan belt, by loosening the tensioner pulley. Remove the fan clutch with the retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new fan clutch.
To remove the fan clutch on a Chevy Tahoe, the upper fan shroud must first be removed. Once removed, a tool is needed to hold the clutch in place to allow for the fan to be removed. The nuts must be unscrewed on the fan in a counterclockwise rotation. Remove the nuts on all side and the fan clutch will remove.
