Remove rear plastic seat cover on drivers side on a e60 BMW 530i?

To remove cover I had to insery flat pieces randomly on upper part of cover from outer sides facing inwards 2 1/2 inches from top about 4 inches deep from sides to release latches inside of seat cover so I can pull cover from top outward and once top of cover is released hold firmly and pull cover upwords as it is held by 2 ancors that will only release by pulling cover up (I broke one top latch in my case but then Poxy glued it back on). Problem was lower metal bar about 1/4 thick that was broken and was hitting the lumbar air pump motor. I had to zip tie felt cloth on part of motor that was getting hit by rod and then just used poxy putty to place rod in place to fix it (noise bothered me more then performance) as it could not have been welded without removal from car and labor was more then I bargain for and FYI dealer does not sell just metal piece, only complete back bracket is sold as one piece for about $900. $6 invested in Poxy Putty and one self threading metal screw fixed my issue.

jack up the car by the driver side front and secure with a jack stand. on the left frame rail by the sway bar there will be a junction block for the battery from the t runk to the starter , it will be covered by plastic cover remove it and attach your positive jumper cable there and the negative to any bround and you should get power to be able to open the door and trunk

The battery for the 06 BMW 530xi is located in trunk, on the right passenger side. You will need to lift the spare tire lid in order to remove the right side molding cover. The battery is 850 CCA (Sears has a replacement for approx $140). Same model at BMW = $350.
