if you look at the drive at the base of the wiper arm, you will see a small tab located directly beneath the arm, this needs to be pushed outward toward the tip of the washer blade, you will have to hold it out and at the same time pull the base of the arm straight outward. do NOT pry it, as you may damage something.

To remove the arm you depress the clip with a small screwdriver while pulling the arm straight out (pliers to pull). The arm just pulls off.
