Step 1 is to be sure you get the correct-fitting replacement wiper blade. The Chrysler PT Cruiser (at least through 2020) takes a fairly standard 16" rear wiper blade and installs similar to the front wiper blades. It is easiest to replace the back wiper blade by carefully prying off the cap at the bottom of the wiper and then remove the whole wiper arm. After that you will be able to easily replace the wiper blade per the instructions given by the wiper blade manufacturer. Once you have done that, simply reattach the arm and snap the cap back in place. This process will take you less than five minutes.

The 2007 Mercedes-Benz c280 is not listed in the aftermarket references which usually indicates that they are special M-B wiper blades and wiper arm attachments. Since you have to go to the dealer anyway for wiper blades, ask them for the instructions too.

The 2009 Jeep Liberty takes a dealer-only wiper blade. To my knowledge there are no aftermarkets available. Ask the dealer for installation instructions when you purchase the blade.

This has just happened to my wifes Punto. Had to replace the wiper motor, as the linkage came apart due to wear. You cannot replace the arms, therefore, new motor. You could just try clipping it back in, but it is doubtful. Lift the bonnet. At the back at the top, just under the windscreen, you will see the arms. The one you are talking about will most probably be lying at the bottom, disconnected. Rip off if you ask me.
