If you missed a step you would know IF there is anything else wrong you probably did if not theres probably nothing wrong really just a bit odd...
on my 93 impreza wagon, they are manual. located on top of the steering column. designed so the parking lights will not be left on mistakenly, causing battery drain. cup holder hides above radio
Sounds like the drving light switch is malfunctioning. I would have that replaced or do it yourself then. Good luck. Or see if the parking light switch located on top of your steering column in on.
Have your alternator and battery tested. and replaced if required.
switch on top of steering coloumb is on. turn it off
To change the park light on a Subaru Impreza prop the trunk lid open and locate the taillight housing. Remove the plastic cover and the bulbs for the parking lights. Replace the bulbs.
In The Subaru Legacy(Outback) Service Manual and the Chilton or Haynes Repair Manual for the Legacy & Forester 2000 thru 2006.
I have run into the same thing with this kind of car. On the steering column at the top they have a switch that will turn the running lights on or turn them off. check the switch you may have hit it and turn it on.
No
rocker switch n top uf steering colum either in on position or faulty
If the parking lights are on when the car is off its probably a switch issue.
On my '96 Outback Wagon there's a rocker switch on top of the steering column, just forward of the steering wheel. It is marked with a "P" - if it is switched ON, a red color bar shows toward the driver. Try switching it to the other position, parking lights should be OFF. I think there's a separate switch because on the Outback, the lights controlled by the regular steering column switch go on and off with the ignition. I know of other cars that have a similar switch there for the hazard flashers, but on the Outback, it's the parking light switch. ;-)
Do you mean the parking lights? if it's the parking lights that are on, check the switch on top of the steering column.
