The cabin filter is located on the inside dash. You must pull up the center panel on the top of the dashboard and then pull it toward the windshield to release it. Using a T-25 driver, loosen the screws holding the right and left dash panels on top of the dash and then pop them out.

There are too cover plates. Use the T-25 driver to remove all the screws holding them down on the passenger and drivers side. Take the cover plates out.

The cabin filter is on the passenger side.

There is a lot of road debris (Leaves, bugs, etc) in that compartment, so removing both sides allows you to clean it out to keep the cabin filter fresh longer.
