Replacing a fog lamp on 1997 Olds LSS is easy. All you have to do is take the lights out of the car, take the old bulb out than replace it with the new one.

The fog lamps are located in back of the head lights. To replace bulb, lift hood, reach to the rear of head lights, remove cover, and unplug brown wire. A brace clip holds the bulb in place. Push clip to release and remove bulb. After replacing bulb return components and cap.

If you push the button and the light doesn't come on, then you need to replace the fuse in the engine for FRT FOG. Not the big one but the 15 AMP one. Also water could have gotten into the compartments and shorted out the bulbs. Mine actually don't work either but the button works now after replacing fuses.
