The code is located inside the glove box on the door. Been there and totally bought a whole new system and friend showed me where it was!! Good luck!
depends.firstly you need to have the system read with a scan tool to interpret codes, could be anything from wheel speed sensors to broken teeth on ring gear or abs unit itself.
You will have to drive it until it comes on.
OBD-2 scan tool needed to check computer.
Try the Daewoo codes. If that doesn't work, your remote might have a 'search' function where it goes through all the codes it knows about.
If you are refering to trouble codes you have to use a code scanner or a scann tool. Check with Kragen for a free test.
Try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes then reconnect.
Yes, the computer does store its codes in the RAM.
I have exactly the same problem - 2001 Leganza 2.2L Auto. Oil changed and flushed. Fault codes read. No gearbox related codes. 2nd hand trans computer tried, engine computer (ecu) tried. No success. Solenoid shift valves checked, all working with voltage check. Resistance check ok with multimeter. Wiring harness to solenoids checked, all ok with multimeter check - all ok ????
I need to know the computer fault codes I need numbered bios codes and not bleep codes
There are two methods of resetting the Check Engine light on a vehicle. One involves using a Code Scanner, by reading the codes, and most have a feature to reset the codes once they have been read. If you find yourself without a code scanner, simply remove the negative battery cable from the battery for at least 10 minutes. This will reset the computer, thus resetting any codes that were stored, that were causing the Check Engine light to begin with. Don't do any of the above if you plan to take your car to a Mechanic, as they will be using those codes to diagnose, and ultimately repair your vehicle.
Accessing the engine control module / computer requires a special tool. Resetting the check engine light is not possible through the dashboard controls. Many auto supply stores, particularly the 'chains' like Autozone, will read the trouble codes and offer to reset the light for free.
