The Riffel family got a landgrant in Pennslyvania in the 1700 .The Riffels invented the Rifle and it was named after the Riffel family.
The 'E.Y'. rifle was named after Sir Ernest Youlle who invented it, or more accurately, adapted it from the standard Lee-Enfield rifle

The rifle came from Dick's Sporting Goods. The dealer of the handguns was not named.
His favorite rifle was named Lucretia Borgia and it was a .48 caliber breech loading Springfield which he claimed to have killed 4,250 buffalo with in a single twelve month period.
For now, the M16 is supplemented by the M4 carbine version, but there is no replacement named as yet.
