check the timing but all catalictic converters get hot
The Vehicle shakes because of the virbration produced by the engine at the stop sing
Usuly the shocks are wore out
Check your motor mounts.
Have the torque convertor clutch in the trans checked out for slippiing.
Need more info like what is the vehicle doing when it shakes, is it idling in park, driving down the road, braking, driving at highway speeds, etc.
Normally this is a tire out of balance. Have your tires rotated and balanced.
Some parts stores will scan your vehicle for free. Advance auto for one.
Because it's cold! Because a large vehicle just went by. Because it is in an earthquake.
Let it idle when moving and get back to us.
the brake rotors are warped. resurface or replace rotors. if the vehicle shakes without applying the brakes, check tire balance.
Front brake rotors are warped
A vehicle will shake in the reverse function when there is an issue with the engine, although other issues could cause this issue as well.
