Runescape is a popular MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role-playing game) in which you can do all sorts of things such as PK (player kill, or fight other players), fight NPCs (non-playable characters, or computer controlled), interact with real people using quick chat (phrases chosen by Jagex, the creators of Runescape) or type using they keyboard if you're 13 or older, do various quests, train multiple skills such as woodcutting, mining, fishing, cooking, runecrafting, crafting, or combat related skills like attack, defence, strength, magic and range. You can also become a member, which gains you access to way more land to explore, skills to train, like slayer, summoning, thieving, agility, farming, and construction. There are also a lot more quests as a member. And you can even have pets and a house!

Runescape takes place in the medieval times. You can train skills like: cooking, fishing, woodcutting, fire making, and many more. You level up by killing monsters which give you experience in combat skills, or you can use the summoning skill to gain combat levels. Some skills require certain items to level them. Mini games are also part of the game, these are basically small activities in which you can do for fun and even gain experience in some skills. Quests, which can also give experience in some skills are also a good source of leveling up skills, some also unlock new places in the game in which you can only access if you've done that quest. You can make friends, create a house which other players can visit, and much more.
