On the Saab 2.0T, 2004 and up, the oil filter is located on the left hand side, just below the side of the intake manifold. It uses a paper and plastic supported cartridge, not a spin on cannister filter as most vehicles do. You must start by removing the black plastic shield that extends towards the front of the vehicle that covers the intake manifold. It is attached to the valve cover with three torx screws . When you remove this you will see a round black plastic cover, about 3 inches in diameter on the left side, just below the corner of the intake manifold with what appears to be a large hex nut in the center on the top and hex shaped on the outside diameter of the cover. This cover requires a 67MM oil filter wrench, available at any decent auto parts supply house. I don't suggest using the hex nut in the center as it seems to stress the plastic cover. Use the aforementioned 67MM oil filter wrench. Be sure to keep it square with the surface of the oil filter cover. I found mine to be difficult to remove the first time. Fram makes the cartridge, however you will more than likely want to purchase an Oring for the cover and drain plug seal when you change the oil. They are not supplied with the cartridge. Be sure to lubricate the Oring once installed on the cover with clean oil. Be sure to run FULL SYNTHETIC OIL! I have an earlier 93 and they tend to get carbon and sludge and it plugs up the oil pump pick up when it winds up in the oil pan if you use semi-synthetic oils. I would also limit the intervals between changes to no more than 3500 miles, regardless of what the factory suggests. The 2004 and up 2.0T also uses 6.5 quarts of oil! Not four like the previous 2.0 and 2.3 that uses 4.1 quarts.

The oil filter can be accessed by first removing the cover from the motor. The filter is then located at the front and center of the engine in a cylindrical compartment, below the black screw-off cap.
All garages in Leicestershire should be able to do that.

This would be right behind where you put the oil in. It is a good idea to get this replaced often for he best working of the vehicle.
The oil filter is under the engine cover, just behind the orange oil dipstick. You will most likely need to get a special tool to remove the cap. The oil filter is inside. It's not a twist on filter like most vehicles. The filter sits inside a housing under the black plastic cap.
Various old landrover engines - 200Tdi, 300 Tdi etc.
First you will have to remove the tray that sits under the engine. Then simply remove the oil filter cover by unscrewing it. The new filter comes with two new rubber seals so replace them and put the new filter element in and screw it back in place.
