My Blu-Ray HT-BD1220 has a problem with it's sound system in so far as the voices / sounds of the main front line actors are muffled whilst all of the background sounds are perfectly clear, any ideas as to the problem and how I might fix it?

The Samsung HT-BD1250 does have an optical S/PDIF connection in the back for digital audio.

Put the bluray into PLAY then go into the AUDIO MENU and change through the choices. When you select the correct one the sound should come on.
Please check the Audio circuit on your Samsung LCD 42 main board. may be a dry solder or a lose jack. please check all on the audio circuit.
