Please be more specific regarding the "problems".
If the engine knocks at red line, you probably have a worn bearing or piston slap.
If the engine won't REACH red line, you may not have sufficient fuel/air mixture reaching the cylinders to allow the engine to run that fast.
Understand that "red line" is a MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED RPM of a specific engine. The engineers have calculated the mass and strength of internal parts and determined that the engine should not be allowed to operate at RPM's ABOVE the red line on the tach.
It doesn't necessarily mean that the engine should be operated at that speed.
The most famous Saturn convertible you can get is the Saturn Sky, the Saturn sky comes with some different options, the red line the most famous one. Base is no extra and a 2.0 litre engine, and then you have red line and red line turbo, with 2.4 litre and 2.4 litre with extra turbo.
The specifications of the Saturn Sky Red Line model include an ecotec turbocharged 2.0L engine, direct injection, 260 horsepower, 260lb.-ft of torque, performance-tuned suspension, and a 4 cylinder engine.
there are two dip sticks in the engine bay.. one is yellow the other is red... REd is for Transmission fluid...and Yellow is for Engine oil

Low engine coolant level. Check and refill asap. The next light to come on will be the high temperature light. Look for a leak and get it repaired.
18000 RPM
It's the same kind as a 2004 Red Line model.
The Saturn Sky has been around since the first trimester of 2006 with model 2007. Currently they sell the Saturn Sky, Saturn Aura, Saturn Astra, Saturn ION, Saturn Outlook, Saturn S-serie, the Saturn VUE and the newest one is the Staturn Sky Base Roadster and the Sky Red Line Roadster.
The starter on the 2002 Saturn vue is located on the front underside of the engine, follow the positive(red) cable from the battery and it should connect to the solenoid which is part of the starter.
aaah yes of course high revving will cause damage to the engine.. that's what the red-line is for. once you get to the red line the engine will automatically reduce the fuel input to protect the engine, probably will just be a smooth interruption of power.. unless its electronically limited, which i don;t know how that works
It means low engine coolent...
Mobile1 or Red Line 10w40. use Red Line MT-90 for transmission.
