you are going to need an amplifier that can support 7.1 sound
the apmlifier will give you directing on setting it up.
the answer is 8 channels and 8 speakers
Go to the "set up menu" and click on SCAN DIGITAL CHANNELS.
For a 5 channel set up, I would recommend putting two speakers in the back and two speakers in the front. Then place the subwoofer anywhere in the room.
Many of them can.You have to look on the back for speaker jacks.

6.5" speakers. The 8 speakers, as someone else quoted, are two sets of 6.5" in front, and a set in the back, plus tweeters up front. Not sure if the speakers are ran off a factory crossover, or how they have it hooked up. I'll rip into mine tomorrow, but those are the speakers that should be there. The GT is the 6-speaker setup.
it is possible that the rear channels for those speakers went bad internaly in the radio.just hook up the rear speaker cords to the front channels to see if it s on the speaker side or internal.
Hook your speakers up to the amp.
u have 2 read the manuellllllll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lllloooollll ;0
If you are getting cable internet, you get the channels that are in the same bandwith as the internet. http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/cable-modem1.htm
No. They have digital channels and may pick up analogue channels but there are no digital channels.
