You don't mention whether the jar has been opened or not. But unopened canned pickles will be good for 2+ years. If older, the pickles may lose some crunchiness and become soft, but they will be safe to eat.

I would plan on using them before the next harvest. If the recipe is good and they are processed and stored properly, they should last for that long.

canned pickles never really go bad they may have an expiration date but as long as you keep them in the fridge they do not go bad.
