2. When you cross the border, you will be on I-5.
3. Take I-5 SOUTH through Washington (state) and Oregon to I-80 EAST towards RENO at EXIT 522 in Sacramento, California. On this stretch, bypass Seattle by taking I-405 (EXIT 182 off I-5) and also bypass Portland, Oregon by taking I-205 (EXIT 7 off I-5 in WASHINGTON).
